Street Fighter 6 closed beta characters
The second Street Fighter 6 closed beta test is set to run this month. The aim, Capcom state on their blog, is to “monitor the play experience of participants, identify any potential issues, and then address them in order to improve the quality of the game”.
This time around, there a few improvements. To start with, there is now an option to reduce input delay in the Graphics menu. Switching this on will reduce the gap between your inputs and the on-screen action. It has been built in to support gamers using 120Hz output.

Those on Steam can create the same effect by setting Vsync to ‘off’ and upping refresh rate to 120 Hz or higher. The Street Fighter closed beta test will feature eight characters, which we’ve detailed below. Note, there are no individual character adjustments since the last Closed Beta Test.
- Ryu
- Ken
- Chun-Li
- Luke
- Kimberley
- Jamie
- Juri
- Guil
Be warned, Capcom has stated that: “The test sessions will use a version of the game still in development. As a result, we cannot guarantee a smooth gameplay experience. Please bear all of this in mind when taking part in the test.”
Modes wise the beta will include Causal, Ranked, Battle Hub matches, Open-Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training mode. It’ll include the following arenas:
- Metro City Downtown
- Genbu Temple
- Carrier Byron Taylor
- Tian Hong Yuan
- The Macho Ring
- Training Room
The Street Fighter closed beta will run from December 16 to December 19, 2022. It’ll allow gamers on on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam to play together also.
