The ratings range from 1 to 100. You should maintain a 90+ rating to keep your club running effectively. A rating below 80 can mean the club will fire you, forcing you to take the helm of a smaller team.Player Career Mode
Player ratings are central to the player career mode. And although they are present in the Manager career mode, they are not primary unless the board sets Youth Development objectives that require you to develop youth players.

A player’s ratings in the game are affected by their performance in training and on the pitch. You must complete the manager’s objectives on the pitch and aim for excellent results in training.
FIFA 23 introduces the Player Career Personality, which allows gamers to experience the game as either Virtuosos, Heartbeats, or Maverick personalities.
- Heartbeats: These team players make decisions for the good of the team instead of personal glory.
- Virtuosos: These are Intelligent and Technically gifted players that use their immense talents to change games by acting spontaneously.
- Mavericks: These are opportunists that take chances in their quest for stardom and individual glory.
With these archetypes, You have greater control over the kind of player you want to become.
