Batman Arkham City Redux is a Massive Texture Pack Mod and Visual Overhaul

Recently, we lost the great Kevin Conroy who was Batman thanks to his stints across Batman: The Animated Series and the Batman: Arkham games. And like many, we were reminded of just how brilliant the latter trilogy was on so many levels. And now, thanks to the Arkham City Redux project the 11 year-old Batman: Arkham City has been given a massive visual overhaul.

It features over 1,000 texture reworks, either hand-crafted or upscaled via some AI magic. It also comes with its own launcher on PC that allows you to adjust the FOV slider. Plus, improvements to shadows, distance detail, and other visual upgrades. Like the ability to choose alternate materials and colours for Batman's outfit. Here's a look.

The good news is that the update works with the Steam, GOG, and Epic Store versions of Arkham City. And if you're on Steam, there's this super-handy step-by-step guide on how to install it. You can also grab it in Lite or Full versions - around 1GB and 5GB respectively - via Nexus Mods.
