Fortnite Chapter 4 leaks suggest the arrival of new gameplay modes, vehicles, and map

The finale event poster teased about the Fortnite Chapter 3 has officially confirmed the beginning of a new chapter in the battle royale game. The finale event named Fracture is scheduled for December 3, 2022. This means after the maintenance period, loopers will witness many new changes and features in the game. Multiple leaks about Fortnite Chapter 4 have been surfacing to date. Reliable sources hint at the introduction of a new map, vehicles, new game-play mode, and much more.

The ongoing chapter 3 is going to be the shortest one in the history of Fortnite, with just four seasons. The need for a new chapter suggests that the developers have something big and different in mind.

Speaking about what loopers can expect in the brand new chapter starting next month, data miner HYPEX has pointed out five major additions to the title. These include an Unreal Editor for Fortnite/UEFN (Creative 2.0), a new cosmetic type, rideable flying animals, first-person mode, and Motorcycles.

Fortnite Chapter 4 leaks speculate at the release of Creative 2.0

While many had speculated that Fortnite Creative 2.0 will be released with the launch of Chapter 4, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney tweeted to confirm it dropping in late January 2023. It looks like the game will be entering a new into a new era with the arrival of the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, Creative 2.0.

This will allow players to design unique 3D modes, animations, scripting, and other elements for their Creative maps. Creators will have full control to work with custom props and expand on them with the help of Unreal Engine 

Leaks hint at the introduction of new cosmetic and rideable flying animals 

A new cosmetic type which is codenamed “Apparel” could be coming to the battle royale game. With the limited information available as of now, this new cosmetic type is going to be clothes and players will be able to equip multiple items of it.

Also, leaks about rideable flying animals hint at the arrival of large animals like a unicorn or flying dinosaurs. The animals and birds already present in the game don’t seem to fit the criteria of what is about to come as players will be able to ride on its back and fly the animal. 

First-person mode and new vehicles will also arrive in Fortnite Chapter 4

The much-awaited and talked about camera mode that might release in the game is the first-person mode. This new camera angle was earlier made available in the Creative mode only. However, now it seems to be implemented for the Zero Build modes. This new first-person shooter mode will enable players to change views as they deem fit per the circumstances of the game.

Also, for a long time, many mechanics have been teased in the files, including motorcycles and rideable skateboards. There have been talks about these brand-new vehicles arriving in the game which could be used as a mode of transportation. Once these motorcycles release next season, players can boost and drift them on the battlefield. Also, the animation of these motorcycles will be the same as riding animals present in the game.

These were the five major leaks that will probably make their way into the game with the new chapter releasing next month. Lastly, there have been rumors about a new brand new map launching in the upcoming chapter. Also, it could be that the new map is a combination of the maps from the past season. For now, players have to wait until the new chapter releases to get an insight into the upcoming features and modes in Fortnite.
