Minecraft Map Brings Soccer to the Game in Honor of the World Cup

To celebrate the World Cup Qatar 2022, a new Minecraft map has been released which essentially turns the title into a blocky soccer match. With the game being ported to a number of platforms, more so even than The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, there are plenty of opportunities for newcomers to see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Mojang's sandbox IP. After more than a decade, many would be forgiven for thinking there'd be nothing left to discover in Minecraft, but there are always new ways of playing the game, some of which can be quite sporty.
