Qojqva Thinks Koma`s Ban Will Not Be Reverted by Valve

Former Team Liquid midlaner & active livestreamer Max "qojqva" Bröcker became the latest in the line of Dota 2 personalities to react to the permanent ban of ex-Virtus.Pro (VP) carry player Kamil "Koma`" Biktimirov. Koma`, along with nine other players were at the receiving end of a permanent ban by Valve following evidence of account sharing and impersonating members of other teams during tournament games.

While the players have since admitted and apologized for their mistakes, many believed that the players involved deserve the repercussions. However, multiple Dota 2 personalities have come to the defense of Koma` by saying that the player does not deserve a permanent ban.

Qojqva thinks that Valve will not revert its decision 

During a recent livestream, qojqva reacted to OG’s Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev‘s post on Twitter. Yuragi recently came to the defense of his friend following the ban wave by Valve as he wished for the Dota 2 publishers to reconsider Koma`s permanent ban. Team Spirit's Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk also chimed in by saying that all of the involved players except Koma` deserved the consequences.

While qojqva can be seen sympathizing with Yuragi on stream, he also gave his own opinions on the matter by saying that Valve will most likely uphold its permanent ban on Koma` despite numerous appeals from multiple Dota 2 personalities.

“One of his [Yuragi] friends got a permanent ban, I feel bad to be honest. But knowing Valve, it will probably stay that way forever. I think he played on another account during a tournament match, that’s why.”

He also felt bad for Yuragi after seeing him being heavily criticized by the Dota 2 community, as many in the community feel that every player involved should face the consequences of their misconduct.

The last notable case of account sharing was in March 2022, where players like Cheng "vtFaded" Jia Hao & Lai "AhJit" Jay Son received permanent bans by Valve for match fixing and account sharing during the BTS Pro Series and other third party tournaments played during that year.
